The game follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.
This includes the three DLC packs: "Battle of Zhongyuan", "Conqueror of Jiangdong," and "Upheaval in Jingxiang" highlighted by new weapon types, (cestus, long sword, and whip), along with new characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce and Liu Bei, new stages and new Divine Beasts, more challenging difficulty levels, expanded functions, and the new endgame content, "The Thousand-Mile Journey".
The Complete Edition also includes all of the updates to enjoy from the start, including equipment and stages from collaborations with "NARAKA: BLADEPOINT," "Lies of P," and "Nioh 2."
